Who We Help

Gateways supports students with all kinds of mental health needs

Students aged 14 to 25 years years old, who struggle to remain in mainstream education, can apply for a place at Gateways. These struggles are primarily due to social, emotional and mental health challenges.

14–16-year-olds  – Who struggle to attend mainstream education and have been absent for 15 days or more (these may be non-consecutive) in an academic year due to their diagnosed mental health condition. Some young people may have stopped attending school or college altogether.

18–25-year-olds – Who have been disengaged from education and are struggling to overcome social, emotional, and/or mental health challenges in order to progress in their lives.

THANK YOU and your wonderful team for everything you have done to help Freddie,. You've gone beyond the call of duty with your bespoke programme and personal care and we don't know where we would be without you...

We are looking forward to his results in the summer.
