Parent Support Group

Gateways is pleased to introduce the first Parent Support Group.

The Parent Support Group has been created to offer a welcoming and confidential space for parents to connect, share experiences and feel supported. Gateways recognise that supporting a young person through social, emotional, mental health challenges can be demanding, and that connection with other parents can be valuable.

The group is designed to provide a supportive environment where parents can:

• meet other parents

• share experiences in a confidential space

• access peer support and understanding

Who the group is for

This group is open to parents of Gateways students in Year 9 and above.

Places are limited to help ensure a supportive and confidential setting.
