As we move into the next phase of our development, we’re thrilled to announce the appointment of Jemma Sager (nee Sussman) as our first-ever Chief Operating Officer (COO) – a brand new role within Gateways uk.
Jemma brings over 15 years of experience in the charity sector, with a background that spans both education and healthcare. She began her career as a Business Analyst, went on to become Head of Clinic at the British College of Osteopathic Medicine and has spent the last five years in operational leadership. Her energy, strategic focus, and passion for impact make her a fantastic fit for Gateways, at this exciting moment in our journey.
Jemma joins us from Open Door, a charity that supports the mental health and emotional wellbeing of young people, where she has been serving as Operations Manager.
Jemma adds; “I’m really looking forward to joining Gateways and being part of their dedicated team, while making a difference to these young people’s lives. I do hope that my enthusiasm and passion will help me further build Gateways’ operational systems and develop even more offerings to their students”.
