Gateways is excited to announce the appointment of Ruth Heller as the new Director of Education.
Ruth formally stepped into the role in March this year, following seven years as part of the Gateways team, where she has worked as one of our longest standing English teachers.
With many years of teaching experience across both mainstream and alternative education, Ruth brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise, alongside a genuine passion for supporting young people to reach their potential.
Over the past seven years, Ruth has played an important role in the Gateways community. She understands our students, our approach and what makes Gateways different. Her commitment to creating an environment where young people feel supported, valued and able to succeed makes her a fantastic fit for this role.
As Director of Education, Ruth will lead the development and delivery of our educational provision, working closely with our teaching and wellbeing teams to ensure we continue to provide an ambitious, flexible and supportive education for every student.
We are incredibly excited to have Ruth taking on this new role and look forward to seeing her continue to shape the future of education at Gateways.
